Hockey, Management and the rest...

There was a great opening round game to the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals last night. Carolina held off Edmonton in a 5-4 Instant Classic. Carolina scored 3 unanwersed goals after being down 0-3 to Edmonton. They then got another one giving them a 4-3 lead. Edmonton got it right back. The Hurricanes got a break when Dwayne Roloson went down hard. Ty Conklin stepped in and in a bad play by all involved Carolina got the go a head goal with only 31.1 seconds left despite a last flurry by Edmonton to try and tie the game. It is sad to see Edmonton lose their best goal keeper in a series only just begun. I'm still hoping for a great series that goes 7 games.

As for the TLS podcast. We still have Episode 29 trying to get uploaded and old episodes showing up unexpectedly getting in the way. Matt and I are meeting today or tomorrow to try and find a better solution which should serve everyone better. Sadly this will cost us money. We'll let everyone know what changes have been made and what you all need to be aware of in the process. Thank you for your continued support for us here at The Last Shot. We greatly appreciate it.

Stay tuned...
