NBA PLAYOFFS

Well the second round of the playoffs are going on and for the most part they seem to be pretty good series other then the Detroit/Cleveland series. Cleveland probably has one of the best players in the league but Detroit has the best all around team if Cleveland wins one game i will be surprised look for a sweep in that series.

The other Eastern Conference series is Miami/New Jersey. Miami got home court back after defeating NJ last night to lead the series 2-1. Look for Miami to take this one in SIX, I think they have just enough to get over NJ as long as the other guys not named Wade or O'neal can keep playing well. Look for a Miami/Detroit rematch of Eastern Conference championship.

Out west you have the two series I think will both go seven games You have the LA Clippers vs. Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs vs. Dallas Mavericks.

Spurs/Mavericks series is 1-1 and people said this should have been the western conference final game but that is another topic the NBA has to deal with at some point. Even after getting blown out in game 2 is still don't see the Spurs losing this series, It will not be easy and will go 7 games and the home court will give them the edge in game 7. So I'm going with the spurs in 7.

Clippers/Suns will be an interesting series after both teams blew each other out in the first two games the Suns took back home court advantage last night by winning by three last night. I think the Clippers can still pull this one off and win in seven games, I love what this Clippers team has done so look for a Spurs/Clippers Western Conference Championship.

Not a great way to start the season with a much more improved offense, and even better defense then they had last year. Minnesota's offense stands no chance against that defense and Washington does enough on offense to get the job done. Washington by two touchdowns. Vikings 0-1

Not a easy second game of the year only thing ya got going for ya is its at home but its still not enough to beat a Super bowl contending team oh yeah and they got a guy by the name um Steve Smith I think Smoot is still try to catch him right now. Carolina in a route. Vikings 0-2

Ahhh the North Division champs next on the schedule unless half the Bears team isn't playing due to injury the bears win this one by at least a touchdown. Vikings 0-3

Oct 1 @Buffalo
This one is tough because both teams are bad but i think Buffalo will win this game by a field goal. Vikings 0-4

Oct 8 Detroit
OK here it comes the first win of the year for the vikings, I will be pulling for the Lions but the Vikes have to win a few games this year and they will do it against Detroit. Vikings go into by week 1-4

Last years NFC champs at home. I don't see Seattle having any problems in this game. Shaun Alexander has huge game. Nate Burlesson gives smoot the Steve Smith treatment. Vikings 1-5

New England isn't the same team they have been in the past, but hey it's New England they don't lose to powder puff teams. Billicheck has Brad Johnson so confused he wonders why he still plays the game. Vikings 1-6

The Vikings next win even I can't be so stupid to say San Francisco is gonna win this game. But upset wouldn't surprise me. Vikings 2-6

Another december game @ lambeau no Randy Moss so no W. 4-11

Dec 31 St. Louis
They finish the season with a win against a so so St. Louis team. Vikings end the season at 5-11. Thats my prediction. Best i see is 7-9 if things go right could be worse if Johnson goes down at any point. I see the Vikings having a better defense then offense which you haven't been able to say for along time but that defense isn't a bears type defense and will still give up plenty of points.
