Morten Anderson's Kick
The greatest moment I have ever seen in Minnesota Viking history happened in this video. Losing to Chris Chandler what a magical moment. I'm just getting excited for football to start soon. Enjoy!

NBA's best
Well I took the best player from each team or at least who I think is the best on each team and ranked them. I have to Heat players on their Wade and Shaq. Just want people to disagree with me. :)
Top 5
1. Dwayne Wade - Put the Heat on his back and carried them to an NBA Championship and was Finals MVP. Yeah he had Shaq but not a dominate one like in L.A.. No real answer for him defensively and he is a solid defender not great but solid.
2. Lebron James - He's everything that was advertised, he's the real deal. Took the Detroit Pistons to game 7 with a bunch of nobody's on his team. Wade is ahead of him because he showed he could carry a team all the way and hit shots in the crunch.
3. Kobe Bryant - Another great player on a crappy team, took the Suns to 7 games also, he's got three rings, scored like 83 points in a game. Probably the guy you want to shoot with the last shot down by 1.
4. Steve Nash - 2 time regular season MVP. If he has Staudamire Sun's are probably in the Finals. he make's a bunch of no namers good and he also has game himself.
5. Tim Duncan - Gotta have a big man like Shaq if he's on your team you have a good shot at going all the way.
The rest
6. Dirk Nowitzki
7. Allen Iverson
8. Shaquille O'neal
9. Kevin Garnett
10. Tracy Mcgrady
11. Elton Brand
12. Vince Carter
13. Ray Allen
14. Paul Pierce
15. Gilbert Arenas
16. Michael Redd
17. Pau Gasol
18. Ron Artest
19. Baron Davis
20. Jermaine O'neal
21. Carmelo Anthony
22. Chauncey Billups
23. Andre Kirelenko
24. Chris Bosh
25. Ben Gordon
26. Chris Paul
27. Starbury
28. Dwight Howard
29. Emeka Okafor
30. Zach Randolph
31. Joe Johnson

15 strong
WeLL D-Wade showed up huge again to beat the Mavs four straight games,Flash definitely deserved MVP and will be fun to watch in the future. It was great to see D-Wade get his first, Shaq his fourth, and Riley his fifth. But is was even better to see guys like Alonzo Mourning, Gary Payton, Antoine Walker, and Shandon Anderson all get that ring. Especially Mourning and GP everything Mourning has gone through on and off the court he had one heck of a game and GP made some big plays in this series and both had great careers.
I heard Dallas had a parade route after they won this series, well keep those blue prints hopefully you can use them if the boys can get the job done.
But congrats to the Heat on a great year and hopefully they can get the repeat next season.

2006 NBA Champions: Miami Heat
4 games to 2. Just like Matt called it! Congratulations to Shaq, D-Wade and the rest of the Miami Heat. No doubt, Pat Riley is a great coach and probably the difference in this series, well, that and MVP of the Finals, Mr. Dwyane Wade. The end.

Game Six NBA Finals
Well the Heat took care of business at home and won three straight in another thriller depending on who your a fan of it was a wild and crazy game. Everything from back court violations not being called (sniff sniff), to supposed non fouls that were called (sniff sniff), to time outs that were called at the wrong time (sniff sniff). All be the first to admit not everything may be called but ya know what it goes both ways. Ya know what Mark Cuban, Avery Johnson, and Dirk all need to quit taking crying lessons 101 from the Detroit Pistons and live with it. Is it the refs fault you couldn't close out game three up by 12 with 6 minutes left? Is it the refs fault you got your butts handed to you in game 4? Is it the refs fault Josh Howard called a time out after the first free throw and not the second. I hope kicking that ball in to the stands and kicking the exercise bike really accomplished something.
For the Heat game six will come down to whether or not D-Wade can score 40+ points thats what he averaged at home and they won. If he can do that and get the role players like Shaq, A-Walk, White chocolate, the glove, J-Pose, Mourning, Haslem to all have a good game they can close this game out. Can Dallas get the same from Howard and Terry like game 5? Can Dirk show up for the whole game? He seemed to disappear at points in the game. Also look for FREE THROWS to play a huge factor in this game.
I'm gonna take the Heat in this game by 5-10 point margin
LET's GO HEAT!!!!!!!!!!

Stanley Cup Champions are...........
The Carolina Hurricanes. YEp another southern, Sunny, didn't know what hockey was ten years ago part of the country has won another Stanley Cup. Tampa Bay doing it a couple years ago. I would have to say that just chaps Canadians Asses but hey as long as the Cup stays in the states I'm happy and Canadians aren't :). It was a pretty good finals i'm still not a guy thats gonna watch a lot if any regular season games but playoffs were defiantly good. If your not a big hockey fan I would just say check out the playoffs or at least Finals ya just never know if its something you'll enjoy.
Like to congratulate Mike Commodore on winning the Stanley Cup, he was part of a couple NCAA National Championship teams for the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux in the late 90's and 2000. Beating another former Sioux Matt Greene who came short in the frozen four and now Stanley Cup. Both young guys and should be able to make more appearances hopefully in the future.

Game 7 NHL
Game 7 tonight I never thought I would have said that. I petty much had Edmonton done in four after I saw the first couple of games. But they have fought hard and turned things around I'm gonna look for Edmonton to pull this game out tonight I just think they got the momentum but anything could happen should be a thrilling game 7.

NBA Game 5
My last prediction was off. It was almost as if Matt's and I predictions got flipped for their respective games. I like the Heat at home tonight. No predictions on the score, it could be a buzz beater or a 10+ point blow out. Either way, it's a Heat victory tonight before we head back to Dallas. Stay tuned.
Lefty Chokes...
Phil Mickelson had a two shot lead with three holes to play. Note, I said had. A disastrous collapse for Phil, a chip-in from just off the green by Geoff Ogilvy on 17 would leave him as the last man standing at the 2006 U.S. Open. Congratulations to him, and I hope this is lift off on a great career. As for lefty, he left us scratching our heads again. I can only hope this isn't the Phil of old.

Oiler's Last Stand At Home = Stanley Cup Game 7
The Edmonton Oilers made a defiant stand at home last night. In what started out as a physical but scoreless first period, the Oilers were able to grind out a 4 to 0 win over Carolina. Edmonton was finally able to get their Power Play unit going, scoring 3 of 4 goals on the power play. Carolina played the game without veteran forward Dough Weight, but were surprised by a return from stand out forward Erik Cole. Unfortunately for the Hurricanes, it wasn't enough to overcome a fanatic and frenzy atmosphere of Oiler fans at the Rexall Place. Game 5 hero Fernando Pisani put Edmonton up with a backhanded shot that bounced off one Carolina player and then off the post into the net. The Oilers never looked back. Raffi Tores scored the second goal by a stick-tip on another power play for the Oilers. The game really headed Edmonton's way when they were able to skate off a 2 man short penalty kill. Edmonton put two more on the board and that was it. Game 7 baby! This is bad news if you're a Hurricanes fan, good news if you're an Oiler's fan and even better news for the NHL. Nothing quite beats Game 7 hockey, let alone for the right to hold Lord Stanley's Cup. Here is hoping to a great game!!
